Andrew Jacono, M.D., FACS, is a global authority in the field of facial plastic surgery and is often called upon by colleagues and media around the world to provide his expert opinion. As one of New York City’s premiere facial plastic surgeons, Dr. Jacono is known as the pioneer of the Extended Deep Plane Facelift, a minimally invasive facelifting technique that provides flawless yet natural-appearing results that last twelve years, on average. Dr. Jacono is dual board certified and currently serves as Section Head of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Northwell Health’s North Shore University Hospital and Associate Clinical Professor, Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Jacono serves as Director of the New York Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in New York City, and Fellowship Director of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has delivered lectures on his innovative facelifting, eyelid lifting, and rhinoplasty techniques at the most prestigious universities in America, including Harvard University, Yale University, Stanford University, Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania. He has also published extensively in medical literature, with more than seventy articles appearing in peer-reviewed journals, including Aesthetic Surgery Journal, JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery, and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. In 2021, Dr. Jacono published a medical textbook with Quality Medical Publishing (QMP) entitled “The Art and Science of Extended Deep Plane Facelifting and Complementary Facial Rejuvenation Procedures,” which harnessed insights from over 2,000 facelift procedures. Additionally, in 2020, he collaborated with QMP on their operative video series release entitled “Extended Deep Plane Face Lift and Adjunctive Procedures for Rejuvenation of the Upper, Middle, and Lower Face.” Dr. Jacono published his third consumer book, The Park Avenue Face, in 2019.

In addition to his aesthetic work, Dr. Jacono volunteers for numerous charity organizations aimed at helping children throughout the world with limited medical and financial resources receive surgeries, including cleft lip and palate reconstruction.
